VEEP provides programs for schools, community and church groups, libraries, and museums upon request. VEEP also provides training and curriculum materials for Vermont teachers on the topics of energy efficiency, renewable energy, and conventional energy sources. This website also provides carefully selected links to a wide range of other online resources.

MISSION

  • To provide education about energy resources and their wise and efficient use

  • To encourage thoughtful energy use that will result in a sustainable and vital economy and a healthy environment

  • To teach math and science concepts and critical thinking through hands-on/minds-on work with energy technologies

 

VEEP is a program of Vermont Energy Investment Corporation, a non-profit organization, and is funded by the Vermont Department of Public Service, Efficiency Vermont, Washington Electric Cooperative Inc., the U.S. Department of Energy, and participating schools.
